Thank you to everyone who came to the North Quabbin Garlic & Arts Festival and supported me this past weekend! It was my first “major” festival and despite downpouring rain on Saturday, it was a great success. It was fun setting up the booth with my handwoven scarves, shawls and cotton towels early Saturday morning, and starting t
he “community weave” on the Harrisville loom I brought to demo with. The rainbow colored warp was graced with weaving from 3-year-old kids through 78-year-old women celebrating their birthdays, throughout the two days. (Photo coming soon!) Sales were great as many folks seemed to be planning ahead for the holiday season, and I had so much fun sharing my love of weaving with so many people. THANK YOU to everybody who visited & to all who I’ll meet in th
e future!
Thank you!
